Mara Mesa, MA, RMHI, Registered Mental Health Counselor, MH10816
We live in a world of constant change that happens whether we are ready or not to endure what it brings. Our thoughts are filled with the constant emotional pains of the past or the overwhelming anxiety of the future. It can be difficult to find someone who understands how we feel or even someone whom we can trust to share our deepest thoughts and feelings.
Mara is a veteran and a trauma-informed therapist who is passionate about assisting adults with developing or reinforcing their coping skills. She has experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, and other life circumstances. Mara is trained in CPT, EMDR, and DBT, and she can incorporate Biblical counseling if requested.
As a Registered Mental Health Counselor, Mara provides a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings. She is available to assist you in beginning the process of healing and empowerment. Mara believes in a strong therapeutic relationship with her client and that successful therapy stems from a collaborative approach.
